~Getting Ready~

I`m ill ... so I have a lot freetime now. I don`t need to stay in bed so
I can sit on my computer *hehe*. Today I saw a nice Jeans tutorial
from a girl of denofangels.com. So I tried to sew a Jeans for my doll
too. I`m not ready yet, because I wanted to make a test jeans leg.
Here is the result:

First I had to choose a fabric so I sewed two legs for a test.



After the first test sewing I made another test.



I think I will sew the complete jeans on tomorrow ;-)

~Hard Week~

Yesterday I had no time to post new stories. Because I were at a "sewing cafe" where I met a friend. And when I came home it was too late. Today I had to write 7 websites in HTML for a school project. I like the websites^^ they all have a "pink style".



The topic of this project is "write about your life". I wrote a lot about
me and my family and I uploaded some pictures from my childhood.

~Meehh~

Today I`m a bit frustrated... I tried so hard working with my sewing machine but everything I tried to sew looked so damn ugly -.-. Maybe I need more practice...but I only want to sew a kimono it looks so easy on the tutorials but its very difficult for a newbie. Its a fight with the machine XD when I want it to sew in line it is only making the shape of snakes -.-. I hope I will learn how to sew with my machine in the next weeks.

When I woke up it was a bit cold in my room. I looked outside my window and it was all white. It looked so nice that I took some pictures.


Today I had a meeting with Manuela. She wanted to sell her sewing
machine. And I need one so I asked her out for the meeting. A friend
of mine was with me. She knows a lot about sewing machines and I
don`t know much. After we took a look at the sewing machine my
friend said "you can buy it". So I bought it for 50 Euro. Thats cheap,
but the sewing machine is a bit older. I`m so happy now I don`t have
to do handsewing anymore^^.Sewing with the machine is much faster.

I made a few pictures of Chang on Silvester. I think they look quite funny.

My doll bed project ended also yesterday at 23:55. So its a new year bed.

I love the giraffe fabric it looks so cute^^.

In the last days I thought a lot about my sewing skills...they are not
bad but also not enough. So I want to practice in a business company.
This year in May I have to make a "practice" in a company for 6
weeks (my school wants that). I think I will make this practice in a
tailor shop. I hope that I can improve my sewing skills in this time.
Tomorrow I will look for a nice tailor shop near my home.

Today Chang`s night suit arrived. Its looks very cute with the
monkey fabric I have chosen

Doll Arriving

Today my doll arrived. I was so happy to hold him in my hands. He looked quite better than on the original picture from AOD. So it was perfect. I only wait for his wig and his night suit. I hope they will also arrive soon.

Sewing a Kimono

I thought about sewing a kimono for Chang Hyun. So I searched the internet for informations (tutorials and patterns). I found a lot but my sewing experience is not fantastic that I would say "hey I will sew a Kimono on my own its sooo easy"
So I decided to let a Kimono sew on an manufacturers portal called "My Hood". I like that portal.
You can write an article about what you like to have/need (in my case the Kimono for my doll)
and at least you have to set a price limit like 20 Euro. Then people can see "oh someone wants a Kimono for her doll o___O I can sew. I will take the job" then they contact you and you can make the descision if you want that this person sews the Kimono for you or not.

♥ My Ball Joint Doll ♥

This week I ordered my first Ball Joint Doll
Its one of the A.O.D. Dolls (Angel of Doll):
I think I will call him Chang Hyun. I like korean names they sound cool

When I ordered Chang Hyun I thought that I will also build a bed for him. It was hard work.First I had to design it. I had so many ideas but at least it doesn`t look like one of my ideas.I made a mistake in the size of one part of the bed and so I had to change the design. But in the end it looks ok. This weekend I will sew the rest of the pillows and also a blanket.I saw a cute Spongebob Squarepants cotton fabric on an eBay shop. I told my boyfriend to buy this for me as a christmas present and he said "I want to buy shoes for you not Spongebob stuff -.-". But I hope he will buy the cotton fabric for me...
